Sisterhood

Sisterhood is a huge part of being within a Panhellenic organization. Within Kappa here at LIU, we strive to create strong relationships between sisters by creating a welcoming and supportive environment. We hope to build relations that will be a forever type of friendship. To do this we host sisterhood events to create memories that our sisters will remember forever. Some of our sisterhood traditions consist of white elephant, sistersgiving, themed chapters, and sisters of the week- where we honor different girls each week.

Outside of Kappa, we also love to build the bonds of sisterhood amongst the women in the Panhellenic community. We love to go out to dinner with other organizations and support other organizations' fundraising events. In this amazing community, we all support "Going Greek" because no matter what beautiful organization you end up in, you always create lifelong friendships.
